Apache .223 Wylde assembled upper receiver with 16" Stainless Steel straight fluted barrel, A2 muzzle brake and a 12" Lightning handguard. Caliber marked for user safety.

The upper is machined from 7075T aircraft grade aluminum and finished with type 3 hard coat anodizing as per military specifications.

The Apache Armaments true match grade barrel is meticulously machined from USA sourced 416R Stainless Steel and features the .223 Wylde chambering. The Wylde chambering is a hybrid chambering developed by Bill Wylde to safely utilize 5.56 NATO ammunition while optimizing accuracy. Of course, it also safely chambers and shoots .223 Remington chambered ammunition as well. The barrel features straight line fluting in parallel to the bore axis for a slight weight reduction, increased surface area to enhance cooling and increase rigidity of the barrel.

The 12" Lightning handguard features M-lock ports on both sides and the bottom to allow the user to mount M-lock dedicated accessories or picatinny rail sections. The handguard is hard coat anodized for durability and good looks. It also features a QD mounting point on each side near the upper receiver for those wanting to mount a sling in those areas.

Due to supply chain issues, we reserve the right to substitute the nitro carburized finish ( an even more durable finish) if necessary.  These barrels have been manufactured to achieve sub MOA accuracy.  We have several customers reporting 3/4" groups at 100 yards right out of the box and 3/4" or better groups at 200 yards after recommended break in.


The 12" Lightning handguard features M-lock ports on both sides and the bottom to allow the user to mount M-lock dedicated accessories or picatinny rail sections.  The handguard is hard coat anodized for durability and good looks.   It also features a QD mounting point on each side near the upper receiver for those wanting to mount a sling in those areas.


Upon customer request, Lightning handguards, Bulldozer handguards, Skeleton handguards and Shark handguards may be substituted interchangeably, if they are available.

10.5" Medium heavy profile parkerized barrel with Rugged M2 brake installed.  9" M-Lock handguard. Includes charging handle and QpQ nitro carburized M16 profile BCG (all steels used exceed Mil Spec).  Upper has been test fired with both supersonic and subsonic ammo using the included BCG.

Fitted with Rugged brand adapter to easily attache your Rugged Suppressor Axial. 

8.5" Medium heavy profile QpQ nitro carburized barrel with optional (upgrade) Rugged 3 port brake installed.  Optional (upgrade) 7.5" contour quad handguard. Includes charging handle and QpQ nitro carburized M16 profile BCG (all steels used exceed Mil Spec).  Upper has been test fired with both supersonic and subsonic ammo using the included BCG.
