Apache Armaments .308 Winchester assembled upper receiver with 16" barrel, A2 muzzle brake and a 12" Key Mod handguard.

The upper is machined from 7075T aircraft grade aluminum and finished with type 3 hard coat anodizing as per military specifications.

The barrel is machined from 4150 high chromium, high vanadium steel, which is a better grade of steel than a standard gun barrel steel. It has been properly chambered and pressure rated to safely fire both .308 Winchester and 7.62x51 NATO ammunition. It is finished with a manganese phosphate coating as per military specifications for corrosion resistance. Due to supply chain issues, we reserve the right to substitute the nitro carburized finish ( an even more durable finish) if necessary. Even at the minimum legal length for a rifle barrel of 16 inches, these barrels have been manufactured to achieve sub MOA accuracy. We have several customers reporting 3/4" groups at 100 yards right out of the box and 1/2" or better groups after recommended break in.

The 12" free floating handguard features Key Mod ports on both sides and the bottom to allow the user to mount Key Mod dedicated accessories or picatinny rail sections. The handguard is hard coat anodized for durability and good looks.

Like all Apache Armaments assembled upper receivers, only high quality parts are used and each unit is test fired to assure function.
