Apache Armaments 7.62x39 complete upper half with 7.5" barrel, A2 muzzle brake and a 7" Skeleton handguard with BOLT CARRIER GROUP and charging handle. As the 7.62x39 utilizes a non-standard bolt face, we bundle the charging handle and bolt carrier group (BCG) into a complete upper half unit.

Caliber marked to when both open and closed for user safety.

The upper is machined from 7075T aircraft grade aluminum and finished with type 3 hard coat anodizing as per military specifications.

The barrel is machined from 4150 high chromium, high vanadium steel, which is a Higher grade of steel than a standard gun barrel steel.  It is finished with a manganese phosphate coating as per military specifications for corrosion resistance.  Due to supply chain issues, we reserve the right to substitute the nitro carburized finish ( an even more durable finish) if necessary.

The 7" Skeleton handguard features M-lock ports on both sides and the bottom to allow the user to mount M-lock dedicated accessories or picatinny rail sections.  The handguard is hard coat anodized for durability and good looks.   It also features a QD mounting point on each side near the upper receiver for those wanting to mount a sling in those areas.

Upon customer request, Lightning handguards, Bulldozer handguards, Skeleton handguards and Shark handguards may be substituted interchangeably, if they are available.

The charging handle is standard mil-spec.

The bolt carrier group is American made and machined from USA produced steel.  Every steel used in the Apache BCG exceeds the military specification for the component part of the BCG.  While competitors offer mil-spec BCG’s, all Apache BCG’s are better than mil-spec.

Like all Apache Armaments assembled upper receivers, only high quality parts are used and each unit is test fired to assure function.
